We sugar using an organic paste made from earth friendly organic sugar, lemon and spring water. This removes the hair in it's natural growth direction preventing hair breakage and in-grown hairs. We can sugar all areas and even target fine hair.

LED
The skin is the largest organ in the body and is also the largest receptor of light. Skin has the amazing ability to absorb light and transform it into energy that can stimulate healing through cellular regeneration - the ability to replace old, damaged skin cells with new, healthy ones. This is why treatments utilising LED (Light Emitting Diodes), can achieve optimal results via a coloured-light energising facial.
LED increases the permeability of the cell membrane, allowing deeper penetration of the active ingredients and nutrients found in topical skincare products. Potent products, such as those in the dermaviduals and O'Cosmedics ranges, achieve better subcutaneous delivery when used in conjunction LED. Our specialist serums improve the appearance of the skin and can be used to treat any skin condition.
The aim of any skin care clinician when treating skin should always be to maintain the skin barrier in its natural condition. This can only be achieved using external agents that are able to repair the natural barrier and importantly, will not impair regeneration from within.
Science shows that Vitamins A, C, E & B have potent anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. Although they are depleted by sunlight, smoking, pollution and other free radical stress caused from our environment. In recent years, the number of products and serums containing these vitamins has grown rapidly but some are more efficacious than others. dermaviduals uses only the most pure and active forms of these vitamins, with no fragrance, colours, mineral oils, preservatives or parabens.
LED(cont)Leading on from initial work at NASA where LED's were used to speed up plant growth, research with cancer patients revealed the power of red light skin therapy for rejuvenation. Researchers noticed that LED light therapy regenerated skin tissue, boosted collagen production and improved the appearance of the skin.
LED equipment was then developed for use by dermatologists to treat a range of skin disorders like rosacea and acne and as a pain free alternative to facial surgery for skin rejuvenation.
Clinical results for red LED skin treatment have been excellent – subjects report: overall lifting and hydrating of skin, improvement in skin tone and texture, evening out of pigmentation, smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles and a feeling of well being and relaxation. There were no reported problems.
We include LED in our facial as we think everyone should be able to have it! You can also book it as a stand alone treatment.
